Community Events

With over 20 years of event management experience, Talk Action organises a wide range of services from a single workshop to a complete solar powered festival for 50,000 people. Costs range from £100 for a workshop, £8k for a medium community event to £100k for a full blown, all-singing, all-dancing green fair.

We deliver community events that inspire community cohesion, empower people to change while developing wellbeing and genuine social wealth. Working alongside our projects team we often help young offenders and long-term unemployed to develop new skills and work experience at our events.

We can supply:

• Full event management
• Solar powered music stages, cinemas and workshops
• Licensing applications and health and safety
• Infrastructure including marquees, compost toilets and security
• Interactive and educational workshops using recycled materials
• Local/organic catering and a selection of community/campaign information stalls.

Haringey Schools Day 2010

Havering Show 2009

• 20,000 people over 2 days
• 1 x solar powered music tent with local musicians, show singers, Bollywood dancers and a 20 piece saxophone band.
• 1 x starshade tent with recycled art, green wood working and carbon limbo workshops
• 1 x solar cinema with interactive games and quizzes
• 1 x cycle roadshow – 30 x wild and wacky bikes and trikes to test ride
