Naresh Giangrande
I lecture and give workshops on environmental issues centred around how to change our lives to live more environmentally sustainable, socially just, and spiritually fulfilling lives.
My lectures and talks are in broadly three categories;
Peak oil
Transition Town Totnes
Ecology
These talks are a rich and engaging mix of visual information and experiential exercises which are designed to both inform and engage as we explore together what it means to be fully informed and responsible world citizens.

The Transition Town Totnes project began in the autumn of 2005 and after its official unleashing in September 2006 has provided a template of how a town using much less energy and resources than we presently consume could, if properly planned for and designed, be more resilient, more abundant and more pleasurable than the present.

I also conduct longer workshops of 1-2 days around similar themes, going into more depth as we explore a new paradigm of living and working.
I also facilitate Open Space and World Café events.

I am happy speaking to a wide range of audiences including businesses and organisations as I draw on my wide life experience ranging from being Managing Director of my own business for 17 years, living in a permaculture based community, and my background in chemistry.

I have spoken and given workshops at The Big Green Gathering, Durham University, taken part in panel discussions, and spoken at several climate change conferences, the Community Council of Berkshire conference, Peak Oil conferences, to many local community groups and local authorities audiences, and been interviewed on BBC radio Scotland, and ITV.

PREVIOUS WORK:
I have given lectures and talk for the last 6 years to a wide range of audiences, from small community groups to university students.
